Alternative Access Switches
1. Big red Switch
The Big Red Switch features a 5-inch activation surface, making it the best choice for persons with visual impairments and persons with physical disabilities who require a larger target area.
2. Jelly Bean
The jelly bean switch features a 2 ½-inch activation surface and is recommended for users who are able to access a smaller target area.
3. Spec Switch
The Spec switch is the most versatile and durable small switch available. With a 1 3/8-inch activation surface, this switch is small enough to be worn, but is most often used as a mounted switch. The Specs switch includes three bases: a standard flange base, a space saving flush base and a strap base for mounting around items
4. Gooseneck Mounting System
The Gooseneck allows for convenient positioning. Now you can position a switch anywhere you’d like with our rugged new mounting system. Equipped with a flexible, extra stiff gooseneck, you can attach it to a table or wheelchair using a unique clamp. Your switch can be attached to the 3" circular plate with dual-lock fastening strips.
5. Pal Pad Switch
Pal Pads are flat membrane switches (approximately 1/10" thick) that can plugged into ANY communication aid or battery-operated assistive device. Applying only 1.2 ounces of pressure or force will activate Pal Pads. They can be activated with the slightest touch, whether it comes from directly above or at a shallow angle.
